Evil Across Time: A haunting prequel to Nothing.
I just read Evil Across Time. Edwina cheats death with superhuman strength. Those witnessing the car accident reported that a tall woman 'friend' of hers kicked the door open and saved her. Upon inheriting her Aunt Jean's Tudor cottage, Edwina finds a Medieval dress. That night she has more than one of out of the body experience in Sixteenth Century Scotland. She can't seem to get away from them. What secret from her past is pursuing her?
Curious? Here is the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r76C5oUdCT0

Promoting Nothing is something. And you've got to have something, if you want to be with me!
To paraphrase Billy Preston, Nothing really is something! I am convinced the Brothers Grimm were planning on writing this tale, but didn't get to it in their lifetimes.
This fairy tale takes place in the present time. Edwina James has a very unique ability, she inadvertently channels the incarnations from her past lives. Most days it’s inconvenient, but Edwina and her fiancĂ©e have learned to live with it as much as practically possible. That is until a powerful witch, nicknamed the Tigress, who thrived on the innocent eight hundred years ago, sets her sights on her future self-Edwina. The Tigress wants to take her place in the twenty-first century and has the magic to make it happen, so she sends Edwina's consciousness into a dimension that is void of matter. Edwina tries to get back home, but that may prove hard, without a body or a sentient thought. If she can free herself, she must find a way to defeat a witch who is cunning and willing to stop at nothing to get what she wants.
If you want to buy this dark fairy tale for under three dollars, click here: http://www.amazon.com.au/Nothing-Roy-Askham-ebook/dp/B00KOTDUO0/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&qid=1401875500&sr=8-21&keywords=nothing

My radio play is live! Let's hear more radio plays. Here's where you can hear them:
The first question I asked in my self-interview on Smashwords was where can you hear radio plays?
Do you have order them online? Maybe a low wattage radio station will air one? There are many places where you can put on a radio play and in these days of high school budget cuts, it would make sense for a drama coach to consider producing one. Then, you can burn CDs of the play and sell them to raise money for the school.
This is especially true of you have a small cast and sound effects you can easily order online. Another place to easily put on a radio play would be a podcast that specializes in comedy, or Science Fiction. Just pass the scripts around, do a read through with the sound effects CD (or provide some with things like crinkling paper, stomping on the floor, etc.) then do it on the air. The same is true with public access radio stations. The last place would be college radio. Even music shows will have a spoken word program such as poetry to have a chance of pace once in a while.
So, podcasters, public access radio show hosts, high school principals, drama coaches, you can entertain countless people for next to nothing.

Let Black Baccara serenade and inspire you.
My husband and I first met Sarah Roberts Graham at California Pizza Kitchen and found out that she would be singing at a local coffee house that Friday night. We braved the bitter January weather to hear Sarah and her husband Matthew sing. The ballad, 'I don't Remember You' brought tears to my eyes. Their band, Black Baccara is an Americana/Folk acoustic duo. Check out some of their videos here: http://www.blackbaccaramusic.com/media.htmlMy husband and I look forward to hearing them again!

Writer and voice actor Dustin Beard: Only in his teens and already 'Out of Time'.
Dustin Beard is pursuing his creative dreams with the use of his
voice and his imagination. I just read his short story, "Out of Time"
and found it to have the same scary, chilling edge as the shows I loved
growing up in the Sixties, such as Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. I won't spoil it for you. Here's the link if you want to check it out: http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Out_of_Time
He recently had a job shadow at a public radio station (WKOK) and was asked to read one of their commercials. They were really impressed with his vocal ability! Since then he has continued to write stories and work on his voice acting skills. This summer, he will be working with different online games, and acting out different character roles. Dustin, you're off to a great start!
Talent runs in the family. I found about Dustin from his older sister Destani at the Tennessee Renaissance Faire where I bought one of her music CDs. She's a singer/songwriter and her father, Ed Beard, Jr. is a famous fantasy artist. Here is Ed Beard Jr.'s link: http://www.edbeardjr.com/
Check out my other blog, Blogs About Writing where I am featuring the music and lyrics of Destini Beard! http://blogsaboutwriting.blogspot.com/2014/05/music-and-lyrics-are-her-destiny-meet.html

The works of Roy Askham: Edwina goes Medieval..literally.
Each and every night for months on end, Edwina finds that she cannot retire to bed without her bedroom decor changing to the decor of the Medieval period. She continues to watch the man on his travels from England to Scotland where he finds himself in grave danger. As Edwina watches, she is devastated to learn that besides being trapped in time, she is also possessed by an evil entity, which causes devastating consequences for her in the twenty first Century.
I have just read the sequel, Nothing, soon to be released on Amazon. Sparing you any spoilers, Edwina takes the reader on a wild ride.
Curious about Evil Across Time? Here is the link: http://amzn.to/1njo77L
Kudos to you, Roy Askham.
